McCALL, IDAHO AREA OVERVIEW

The town of McCall has 2 downhill ski resorts close to town, Brundage Mountain and Tamarack Resort. There are nordic trails at Jug Mountain Ranch, Ponderosa Park, Bear Basin, Tamarack Resort, the McCall Golf Course, and the Activity Barn.

Downtown McCall is a quaint lakeside village with shops, the Hotel McCall, restaurants, indoor ice skating rink, coffee shops, real estate offices, markets, vacation rentals, schools, hospital, Payette National Forest, city offices, airport with charter services, mortgage and title companies, and city parks on the lake.

Golf courses include Jug Mountain Ranch, Whitetail Club, Tamarack Resort's 18 hole Robert Trent Jones II course, and McCall's Municipal Robert Muir Graves 27 hole course.

There are many hiking trails, and fly fishing opportunities. Summer activity on the lake includes sailing, waterskiing, and personal watercraft.
